Brief to bulk

Manufacturing process

A stage-gated path that closes product risk before bulk: align the brief, define the specification, prove it in a sample, lock approvals, produce against the reference and document the handoff.

Brief

Define the target customer, product family, fit references, quantity, destination and desired launch window. Separate confirmed facts from open decisions.

  • Reference images or garments
  • Target measurements or fit notes
  • Quantity by style and color
  • Destination and target date

Design + specification

Translate the direction into construction, measurements, materials, trims, artwork placements, labels and packaging instructions.

  • Block and silhouette
  • Construction callouts
  • Material and trim schedule
  • Branding map

Development + sampling

Use swatches, strike-offs and physical samples to prove hand, proportion, color, decoration and finish before bulk decisions are closed.

  • Swatch approval
  • Decoration strike-off
  • Fit sample
  • Finish sample where required

Approval + production

Record the signed reference, change log and acceptance criteria. Production follows the approved record, with variances escalated rather than silently interpreted.

  • Approved sample
  • Final measurement sheet
  • Label and packaging proof
  • Inspection checkpoints

Packing + handoff

Confirm quantity, size breakdown, packing method, carton marks, documents and shipment responsibility before the order leaves the facility.

  • Final count
  • Packing list
  • Buyer documents
  • Forwarder or delivery instruction
