Station 3 · Design

Colour it in.

Pick your colours and put a name on the back. This is the proof you approve before anything is printed: every piece of the kit laid flat, the way it goes through the printer.

Station 4 · Print

Backwards, and dull.On paper, that's right.

A wide-format printer lays sublimation ink onto transfer paper as a mirror image. The colours only wake up in the press.

Station 5 · Press

Press it.Then peel it.

Face down on white polyester.

About 200 °C and a firm press.

The platen is up. Pull the paper toward you, or keep scrolling.

Peeling. The colour is already in the fabric.

The paper keeps a faded ghost of the print.

Almost there.

Your name is in the fabric now. It won't crack or peel.

Face down on white polyester, about 200 °C and a firm press. The heat turns the ink into a gas that moves into the fibres, so the colour ends up inside the fabric.

FAQ

Questions,answered.

What is sublimation printing?

The design is printed on transfer paper with sublimation ink, then pressed onto polyester at about 200 °C. The heat turns the ink into a gas that bonds into the fibres, so the colour becomes part of the fabric instead of sitting on top of it.

Will the print crack, peel or fade?

It cannot crack or peel, because there is no layer on top of the fabric. Colours stay bright through normal washing. Like any fabric, years of strong sun can slowly soften them, so dry kits in the shade.

Can you print on cotton?

No. Sublimation only bonds with polyester, so every fabric we print is polyester. For a cotton feel, ask for micro PP softy, a brushed polyester that feels closest to cotton.

Are names and numbers included?

Each player's name and number is printed in the same pass as the design. Ask us how the full list affects your quote.

What is the minimum order?

Minimums depend on the product and are confirmed with your quote.

How long does an order take?

Timing depends on the quantity and the design, and is confirmed when you approve the mockup. [NEEDS INPUT]
